The MLIT announced on 29 October 2026 that up to 50 Nihon Kotsu JPN TAXI cabs wrapped with Tunku Tunku will run in Tokyo's 23 wards, Musashino and Mitaka. They cannot be booked.

Queen's Square Yokohama lights an 8.7 m Tunku Tunku tree on 9 November
The GREEN×EXPO association says Queen's Square Yokohama will host an 8.7 m expo-themed Christmas tree from 9 November to 25 December, with expo graphics in the building until March.

Tunku Tunku clothing from JOURNAL STANDARD relume, sold at a two-day Osaka festival
On 23 October 2026 the Expo 2027 master licensing office announced four Tunku Tunku items with JOURNAL STANDARD relume, drawn by artist kurry, on sale at BAYCREW'S FESTIVAL OSAKA on 24 and 25 October.

Pia releases a Myaku-Myaku and Tunku Tunku embroidered phone-shoulder-bag mook on 29 October, 3,300 yen
On 21 October 2026 Pia announced the 'Tunku Tunku & Myaku-Myaku Smartphone Shoulder BOOK', on sale 29 October for 3,300 yen: an 8-page A4 mook with an embroidered black shoulder bag.

On 19 October 2026 the Expo 2027 licensing office released a Tunku Tunku promotion song on its X and Instagram. It will play in official stores and at meet-and-greets.

The operator of null²ⁿ, Yoichi Ochiai's permanent theatre in Yokohama Landmark Plaza, announced on 9 October 2026 that it opens on 14 October and revealed the gate and five areas inside.

Tunku Tunku visits Fukuoka on 31 October at a free farm and flower festival in Tenjin Central Park
Fukuoka Prefecture said on 6 October 2026 that its farm, forestry and fisheries festival runs on 31 October and 1 November in Tenjin. Tunku Tunku appears on 31 October.

First permanent official store in Shizuoka opens 9 October, with Tunku Tunku photo sessions for 60 groups
The Expo association said on 6 October 2026 that an official store opens on 9 October inside Maruzen & Junkudo at Shin-Shizuoka Cenova, with three photo sessions that day.

Agriculture ministry brings expo booths to nine events; Tunku Tunku in Mito on 12 Oct
Japan's agriculture ministry will run GREEN×EXPO 2027 booths at nine food and farming events from 3 October to 15 November 2026. The Tunku Tunku costume appears only in Mito on 12 October.

On 28 September 2026, Imperial Enterprise began selling a pure gold coin of Myaku-Myaku handing a baton to Tunku Tunku by mail order. 260 pieces, 659,780 yen, delivery from late February 2027.

Pure gold Tunku Tunku koban and medal go on sale at Yokohama Takashimaya from 30 September
