The US became the first G7 country to sign for GREEN×EXPO 2027, on January 14, 2026. The US Botanic Garden leads its exhibit, themed "The Pursuit of Happiness."

GREEN×EXPO 2027 ITTO: Yokohama's Own International Organization Signs On
The International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO), based in Yokohama, signed for GREEN×EXPO 2027 on 12 March 2026. According to the Association, it is the first international organization to do so.
