- Kanagawa Prefecture will run a GREEN×EXPO 2027 promotional booth at the 51st Fujisawa Citizens’ Festival, held on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026. The prefecture’s GREEN×EXPO 2027 special site announced it on 11 September.
- Day: Sunday 27 September only. In the festival newspaper’s list of stalls, the same spot (No. 28) goes to Fujisawa City’s planning and policy division on the 26th and to the prefecture’s GREEN×EXPO promotion office on the 27th.
- Place and hours: Sunpearl Plaza in the Fujisawa area, by the north exit of Fujisawa Station. This venue is open 10:00–17:00 on both days. The festival newspaper notes that times are approximate and that some stallholders may change.
- The wider festival: besides the Fujisawa area, the festival is held in the Endo–Goshomi area (26th only). The Shonandai area holds its part on 24 and 25 October.
- Neither the prefecture’s notice nor the festival’s materials say what the booth will offer.
- “Fujisawa Citizens’ Festival” and “Sunpearl Plaza” are trip-jp’s own English renderings of 藤沢市民まつり and サンパール広場.
Our take
Vietnam Festa in Yokohama on 12 and 13 September, the Fujisawa festival on the 27th. Every two weeks the prefecture borrows a stall at a festival where people already gather, instead of staging its own event. Cheaper, and easier to repeat.
Fujisawa Station is where the JR Tokaido Line, the Odakyu Enoshima Line and the Enoden tram meet, the transfer point for the Shonan coast and Enoshima. Promoting the Expo here, well away from the venue in Seya-ku and Asahi-ku, means the prefecture is counting on visitors from its western half.
In the festival newspaper’s stall list, plot 28 goes to Fujisawa City on the 26th and to the prefecture on the 27th: the two share the space. The Tunku Tunku appearances announced for Vietnam Festa are not mentioned this time, and nothing is said about what the booth will do. A place to drop by if you are passing, not a destination.
Tips for visitors
- The prefecture’s booth is there on Sunday 27 September only, 10:00 to 17:00. On the 26th the same plot is Fujisawa City’s.
- From Fujisawa, the Enoden tram runs to Enoshima and Kamakura, and Odakyu trains to Katase-Enoshima. Festival first, then the coast, is the easy order.

Our take
Kanagawa's booth is at the plaza just outside Fujisawa Station's north exit on Sunday 27 September only. What the booth will offer has not been announced, so treat it as a detour on a day out to the Shonan coast.
