- Pre-orders open at 10:00 on Saturday 22 August 2026. You can order at the EXPO 2027 official pop-up store at Sakishima Morena in Osaka, Mizuno’s own stores and Mizuno’s official online shop, among others.
- General sale in shops and online is planned for around March 2027.
- The goods carry two rights notices: “©Expo 2025” as an Expo 2025 licensed product and “©Expo 2027” as an official licensed product of the 2027 International Horticultural Expo.
Our take
Shoes at 17,600 yen are priced as something to wear out, not as a souvenir. The 6,490 yen T-shirt and the 3,190 yen arm covers are for people who walk and run. With Mizuno as the partner, this is clothing for a full day on foot around the venue.
It is also the third round of Myaku-Myaku and Tunku Tunku goods. The first appeared in September 2025, in the closing weeks of the Osaka Expo, and sold out; in March 2026 it returned with new items; now Mizuno makes it a three-way line. Pre-orders on 22 August, general sale around March 2027, more than six months apart. Production sized to the pre-orders, in other words. And the Osaka store on the pre-order list is there so that people who went to the Osaka Expo start thinking about a ticket to Yokohama.
Tips for visitors
- To wear these on opening day, pre-order. Orders open at 10:00 on 22 August at Mizuno’s own stores and online shop. General sale is around March 2027, and the release does not say whether that is before 19 March.

Our take
This is billed as the first round of goods carrying both the Osaka 2025 and Yokohama 2027 characters. General sale comes in March 2027, right before opening, so we expect many people to wear these on day one. The Osaka store on the pre-order list is there to bring Expo 2025 visitors on to Yokohama.
