GREEN×EXPO 2027 Yokohama (International Horticultural Expo): access, where to stay, tickets
The International Horticultural Expo runs in Kamiseya, Yokohama from 19 March to 26 September 2027. There is no station at the venue; shuttle buses from four stations are the way in. Booked separately from your entry slot. Both directions must be booked and paid for in advance by credit card. Bookings made 181 or more days ahead are provisional: pay from 180 days before, or they are cancelled.

Both the venue car parks and park and ride are booked here, with an arrival time. Bookings made 46 or more days ahead are provisional and are paid from 45 days before. Cancelling is free until the day before.

Gates close at 21:30 with last entry at 21:00, so you get four and a half hours from the evening.

About five one-day tickets. Outdoor gardens need no reservation, so it suits people who drop in often.
Access: there is no station at the venue

- Reservations opened on Friday 18 September 2026, first come first served, under "timed-entry reservation" on the official ticket site
- Book for family and friends together by entering their 10-digit ticket IDs, up to 10 people at a time
- One-day and similar tickets can change the slot up to 3 times; after that, a same-day slot can still be booked from midnight if space is left
- Once your slot starts you can enter at any time that day
- Outdoor gardens and flower beds need no reservation
- Some exhibits use same-day reservations: one exhibit per ticket per day, released in three batches
- Convenience-store paper tickets come with a 9:30 entry slot; change it on the official ticket site
- Open 9:30 to 21:30, last entry 21:00

AEON becomes a Platinum Partner: Expo ads on screens in about 250 stores and in about 100 AEON Cinemas
Our take: AEON is the fourth Platinum Partner of the awareness-building project we know of, after the Osada advertising group, Keikyu and JTB, and it adds shop floors and cinemas to the places where the Expo is advertised. Events at AEON Mall are planned, but the malls and dates have not been announced.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries donates about 20,000 Expo tickets to Sagamihara, Yamato and Hitachi
Our take: The number is the same as for Expo 2025 Osaka, about 20,000, but the tickets now go to three cities instead of about 20 municipalities. Last time they were child tickets handed out through local boards of education; this release does not say what type of ticket it is or how residents will receive one.

Refill your bottle at Expo 2025 Osaka water stations: Sutehaji EXPO 2026 at Pia Arena MM on 5 November
Our take: It is on a weekday, but entry is free and the Association's head of PR speaks from 15:35. The organiser says information on drinking water at the GREEN×EXPO 2027 venue will be presented, so there may be news on the refill stations, whose number and locations were not given in September.

Our take: By the city's own press list, this is the 29th sponsorship of the city pavilion since Tokyo Gas on 21 July. It is the second exhibit that generates power at a window, after YKK AP's solar inner window in August; this time the power comes from a screen pulled down inside the window, not from the glass.

Our take: This is run by a flower-industry association, not by the Expo Association, though Ryuichi Wakisaka of the Association spoke at the third session. For Expo history, the 18 December session with Professor Tomoyuki Okada of Kansai University is the one to pick.
