  • On 15 September 2026, Mizuno began taking advance orders for 17 items featuring Tunku Tunku, the official mascot of GREEN×EXPO 2027, through its official online store and some of its own stores. Delivery is planned for March 2027.
  • According to Mizuno’s product page, orders close on Wednesday 30 September 2026. The stores taking orders are MIZUNO TOKYO (Chiyoda, Tokyo) and Mizuno Osaka Chayamachi.
  • The adult lifestyle shoe “WAVE LIMB EXPO2027” has an Expo-themed pattern on the upper and Tunku Tunku on the insole. For children there are two shoes based on the “Mizuno Plamore” line, whose tongue and strap are one piece so children can put them on by themselves.
  • Other items include a plush Tunku Tunku medicine ball weighing about 2 kg, an all-over print T-shirt in white or blue, and UV-blocking arm covers.
  • The official EXPO 2027 stores also plan to sell the items from March 2027, naming Maruzen Marunouchi, Yokohama Luxis Front and Maruzen Yokohama Minatomirai as examples, but the start date and shops are described as undecided.
  • Prices are not given in the release or on the product page.

Our take

In August, Mizuno also took orders for five triple collaboration items with Myaku-Myaku. Those paired Tunku Tunku with the Osaka Expo character; this time it is Tunku Tunku alone, and the range has grown to 17 items. The product page also shows a rain jacket, hats, an umbrella and a backpack.

Mizuno says the items are designed to be useful in spring and early summer, when the Expo runs. Quick-drying T-shirts, UV arm covers and rainwear are things you could simply wear on a long day walking the outdoor site, we think.

The problem is that there is little to decide with. Orders are open for only about two weeks, and no prices are published anywhere. Anyone ordering will need to check the price on the online order screen before committing.

Tips for visitors

  • To wear them on opening day, order by Wednesday 30 September from Mizuno’s online store, MIZUNO TOKYO or Mizuno Osaka Chayamachi. Delivery is planned for March 2027, and the Expo opens on 19 March.
  • If you miss the deadline, the official stores plan to sell the items from March 2027. Each store will carry different items, so ordering is safer if you have a particular item in mind.
  • For Tunku Tunku goods you can buy now in Yokohama, see our news on the official pop-up stores.
