- The Osada advertising group (Osada Holdings, Osada Koukoku and NAGATA AGENT, based in Tsushima, Aichi) becomes a Platinum Partner of the awareness-building project.
- Osada’s 230-plus digital signage sites across Japan will show Expo announcements and 3D content featuring the mascot Tunku Tunku.
- The exposure runs continuously from September 2026 for up to 13 months.
- Project sponsorship is a scheme in which sponsors co-create content with the organiser; Platinum is the tier of ¥500 million or more.
Our take
Thirteen months from September 2026 ends in September 2027, the month the Expo closes on the 26th. The deal starts 200 days before opening and runs to the end, covering both pre-opening publicity and drawing visitors during the Expo itself.
Project sponsorship means co-creating content with the organiser, and Platinum is the tier of 500 million yen or more. An outdoor advertising firm contributing its own 230-plus screens is paying mostly in media space rather than cash. The “3D content” is the three-dimensional style of billboard in the release image.
Where the 230 screens are is not published. Osada’s head office is in Tsushima, Aichi, so the Chubu region around Nagoya is likely the core. A week later, Keikyu joined the same tier, and the Expo is now advertised on street screens and inside trains alike.
Tips for visitors
- No list of screen locations has been published. If you spot one, the city it is in tells us how far the campaign reaches.
- Who the mascot is and what its colours mean is in our Tunku Tunku profile. Rules for posting photos of the mascot are in our guide to the fan-art guidelines.
- The other sponsor in this tier is Keikyu. Railway sponsorships affect how you travel, so we follow those separately.

Our take
Platinum is the 500-million-yen-plus tier, and an outdoor advertising group has joined the awareness-building project. Up to 13 months from September means Tunku Tunku on street screens right through to the closing.
