If you land at Haneda’s international terminal, the cheapest way to the GREEN×EXPO 2027 venue costs ¥850 for an adult. Take Keikyu to Yokohama Station, change to the Sotetsu Line for Seya, and board a shuttle bus there. The venue has no railway station. The GREEN×EXPO Association plans reserved shuttle buses from four stations: Seya, Mitsukyo, Tokaichiba and Minami-machida Grandberry Park. Two airport bus routes from Haneda also get you close, and the one bound for Machida stops right at Minami-machida Grandberry Park.
Fares and timetables below come from Keikyu, Keikyu Bus, Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu, Sotetsu and the Association, checked on 17 September 2026. The Expo opens on 19 March 2027, so check the timetables again before you travel. Choosing between Haneda and Narita, and the Narita Express, is covered in our article on flying in.

Rail fares are paper-ticket fares. With an IC card such as Suica, Sotetsu charges to the yen, so Yokohama to Seya is ¥272 instead of ¥280. Keikyu quotes 28 minutes to Yokohama from Terminal 1 and 2. Airport bus times come from the timetable and are about 15 minutes shorter if you board at Terminal 1. Shuttle bus times are the Association’s estimates. None of the times include changing or waiting.
By train: Keikyu, then the Sotetsu Line
Keikyu trains toward Yokohama leave Haneda about every 10 minutes, and no express fee is needed. At Yokohama Station, change to the Sotetsu Line. Sotetsu Limited Express trains do not stop at Seya or Mitsukyo, so take a Rapid or a Local. Seya Ward puts Seya about 21 minutes from Yokohama by Rapid.
Sotetsu’s fare table (revised March 2023) gives ¥280 from Yokohama to Seya and ¥250 to Mitsukyo. Mitsukyo saves ¥30, but its shuttle bus takes about 15 minutes against about 10 from Seya. Seya Station’s map shows coin lockers, which matters because suitcases are not allowed at the Expo.
By airport bus to Minami-machida Grandberry Park
The airport bus from Haneda to Machida Bus Center and Sagami-Ono Station stops at Minami-machida Grandberry Park Station (stop 1). Keikyu Bus and Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu run it jointly. The adult fare is ¥1,700 and the child fare ¥850.
In the September 2026 timetable there were 18 departures a day from Haneda. The first leaves Terminal 3 at 8:00 and reaches Minami-machida Grandberry Park at 9:10. The last leaves Terminal 3 at 22:30. Buses run every 60 to 95 minutes until midday and every 35 to 45 minutes from about 16:00.
- Tickets: pay before boarding at Haneda. At Terminal 3 there is a bus ticket counter in the 2nd-floor arrivals lobby and Keikyu Bus ticket machines; Terminals 1 and 2 have machines in the arrivals lobby. If you pay by IC card, tell the counter or the staff at the stop which departure you are taking.
- Luggage: one suitcase-sized bag per person (Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu). Large bags go in the hold under the bus (Keikyu Bus).
- Shuttle bus stop: the Association plans four boarding bays in the square on the north side of the station, about 4 km and 20 minutes from the venue. We could not confirm from official sources how far that is from airport bus stop 1.
The route does not work well for the trip home. Only 15 buses a day run from Minami-machida Grandberry Park to Haneda, and the last leaves at 16:55. Seats can be reserved from a month ahead until the day before (by 19:00, according to Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu), and Keikyu Bus says you can board on the day if seats are free.
By airport bus to Futamatagawa, then the Sotetsu Line
Keikyu Bus and Sotetsu Bus jointly run a bus from Haneda to Futamatagawa Station for ¥1,200 (children ¥600). The September 2026 timetable had 20 departures a day, from 7:20 to 22:45 at Terminal 3. The ride is 55 to 60 minutes from Terminal 3 and 40 to 45 from Terminal 1. The bus stops at the north exit.
From Futamatagawa, Mitsukyo is the second stop on the Sotetsu Line and Seya the third, ¥190 either way. Limited Express trains stop at Futamatagawa but pass both shuttle-bus stations, so do not board one.
This bus also works on the way back: 20 departures a day from Futamatagawa to Haneda, the last at 21:30.
There is also an airport bus to Shin-Yokohama Station for ¥1,000, with more than 30 departures a day and about 50 minutes from Terminal 3. From Shin-Yokohama, take a JR Yokohama Line local train to Tokaichiba, where the shuttle bus takes about 25 minutes. That timetable changes on 1 October 2026.
Going straight to the venue on arrival day
The Association’s rules on prohibited items ban hard cases, suitcases, carry-on cases and carts, as well as bags too large for the X-ray scanners. If staff find one at the entrance, the rules say they will direct you to coin lockers or similar storage. How many storage places there will be near the venue, and what they cost, is not stated in the transport plan or the FAQ as of 17 September 2026.
The shuttle bus needs its own reservation, separate from your timed-entry booking. How to book was published on 18 September 2026: use the dedicated site (https://cs.shuttle-bus.expo2027yokohama.or.jp ) and book and pay for the outward and return trips separately. Cancelling is free until 17:00 the day before; after that it costs half the fare until five minutes before the meeting time, and no cancellation is possible later. What happens if a late flight makes you miss your bus slot has not been announced. People who arrive before their reserved time will be sent to a waiting area.
Shuttle buses are planned to run from 8:30 to 22:30, one hour before opening to one hour after closing. The transport plan also lists direct buses from Haneda Airport, Yokohama Station and Shin-Yokohama Station, with stops, routes and frequency still being worked out with bus operators. Nothing had been announced as of 17 September 2026. We will update this article when it is.
Our take
If you are heading straight from Haneda to the venue, take Keikyu and the Sotetsu Line. It is the cheapest option, and you can go home the same way. The Machida-bound airport bus saves one change but costs ¥1,020 more per adult, and its last bus back to Haneda leaves before 17:00. Treat it as a one-way option.
That bus makes most sense if your hotel is near Machida or Sagami-Ono, where it terminates. Drop your bags, and the next morning a shuttle-bus station is at most one change away: Tokaichiba direct from Machida on the JR Yokohama Line, or Minami-machida Grandberry Park from Sagami-Ono with a change at Chuo-Rinkan. If your flight lands late and you are staying along the Sotetsu Line, the Futamatagawa bus runs until 22:45 from Terminal 3. It reaches Futamatagawa at 23:40, so look up the last Sotetsu train before you rely on it.
