- Hit Co., Ltd., an outdoor advertising specialist based in Ginza, Tokyo, founded in 1991, announced on 14 October 2026 that it is sponsoring the GREEN×EXPO 2027 promotion project as a Silver Partner.
- The sponsorship takes the form of airtime on Hit’s own large digital media: the “Synchro 7 Shibuya Hit Vision” screen and “Shuto Expressway digital LED boards” will show the GREEN×EXPO 2027 promotional video. The release includes a photo of the video running on the Shibuya screen.
- Hit says it will keep working with the Association on these screenings. The period, the number of showings a day and the locations of the expressway boards are not given.
Our take
Hit is not the first sponsor to offer screens. On 31 August, 200 days before opening, Osada Advertising Group became a Platinum Partner and said it would promote the Expo on more than 230 digital signs across Japan. Hit comes in at Silver level, and instead of numbers it offers two busy places: a crossing in Shibuya and the Shuto Expressway. For both companies, what the release describes as the sponsorship is airtime on their own screens. With less than five months to go, I expect more of these spots where people in the Tokyo area run into Expo footage.
For readers, though, a screen you cannot plan for is hard to go and see. The photo shows the Shibuya building, but no times are given, and the expressway boards are not named, so drivers cannot look out for them yet.
Tips for visitors
- If you pass through Shibuya, the Synchro 7 Shibuya Hit Vision may be showing the Expo video. Times have not been published.
- Other sponsors’ announcements are in our news on Osada Advertising, JTB and Keikyu.
- Screen names are trip-jp’s English renderings of the Japanese names in the release.
Our take
Outdoor advertising company Hit is now a Silver Partner of the Expo, showing the Association's promotional video on its Shibuya screen and on Shuto Expressway LED boards. How long, how often and which expressway boards have not been announced.
