“null²ⁿ (Null Null Nexus),” the permanent theatre that continues Yoichi Ochiai’s Expo 2025 pavilion null², opens on 14 October 2026 on the fifth floor of Yokohama Landmark Plaza. It is not at the Expo venue but inside a shopping complex in Minato Mirai. Tickets are for timed slots only and have been on sale on the official site since 14 July 2026.
We checked the location, access, prices, booking rules and what to know on the day against the null²ⁿ official site, the organisers’ announcements and Yokohama Landmark Tower’s official access page. There are no discounts for disability, seniors or students. A ticket that includes an original pin badge costs 11,900 yen (weekdays) or 12,500 yen (weekends and holidays) for adults and 11,000 or 12,000 yen for children, limited to two per account.
Where it is and how to get there
null²ⁿ is inside Landmark Plaza, the lower floors of Yokohama Landmark Tower, on the fifth floor. Mitsubishi Estate, which runs the tower, is one of the joint announcers. The tower’s official access page gives 3 minutes on foot from Minatomirai Station (Minatomirai Line) and 5 minutes from Sakuragicho Station (JR and the Yokohama Municipal Subway Blue Line) using the moving walkways.
From Yokohama Station, take the Minatomirai Line to Minatomirai Station, or the JR Negishi Line or the subway to Sakuragicho. The Tokyu Toyoko Line runs through onto the Minatomirai Line, so from Shibuya you reach Minatomirai Station without changing.
Coming from the Expo venue, the route depends on which of the four shuttle-bus stations you return to.

Buying tickets and the rules
Choose a date and slot on the official site, and a QR-code e-ticket appears on your account page to show on your phone at entry. Standard tickets are limited to five per transaction, badge tickets to two per account. Partner sites (travel agencies and similar) also sell tickets, but changes and enquiries for those go through the seller.
Three rules deserve attention.
- No cancellations, no refunds. The official site states that refunds for the visitor’s own reasons are never given, whatever the cause, including illness or transport delays. Duplicate purchases are not refunded either. Check the date, number and ticket type before paying.
- Date and time changes are possible only for tickets bought on the official site, from your account page until 23:59 the day before. There is no limit on how many times, but you cannot move between a weekday and a weekend or holiday, and you cannot change the ticket type.
- Arriving well after your slot may mean refused entry or a shortened experience, because the show is linked in real time to visitor data. Arriving very early is not helpful either, since waiting space is limited. Check the meeting time in the pre-visit email.
The site recommends registering with a free email service such as Gmail rather than a Japanese mobile-carrier address, because carrier addresses often fail to receive the confirmation. Photo ID may be requested at entry.
What to know on the day
The visit takes about 60 minutes through five rooms, including two LED theatres. In August 2026 the organisers revealed the concept of a “sound-only room” with no video, placed after the theatres. The other rooms are unannounced as of September 2026.
- Some areas have mirrored floors. Take care with skirts and wide shorts; free wrap skirts are available on loan in limited numbers. Heels and sandals are discouraged for safety.
- Once you leave you cannot re-enter. There are no toilets inside; use those in Landmark Plaza before entry.
- There is nowhere inside to leave large luggage or umbrellas. Use lockers at the station or in the complex.
- There is no food, drink or vending inside, and no food or drink of any kind, including bottled water, gum and sweets, may be brought into the exhibit area.
- Expect dark spaces, strong flashing LED and projection light and loud sound. People sensitive to light, with heart conditions or with medical devices such as pacemakers are advised to refrain or take great care. The site also states there are no haunted-house style scares.
- Wheelchairs can enter, but there are steps, mirrored floors and dark areas. Pushchairs may be refused. Children aged 12 and under cannot enter alone; one adult aged 18 or over may bring up to three children.
- Photos and video are allowed in principle and social media posts are welcome. Flash, tripods, selfie sticks and long occupation of a spot are prohibited; live streaming is discouraged.
- Multilingual signage and audio are “being arranged” as of September 2026.
The Mirrored Body app is optional. The official site says installing it brings priority booking and extra effects, and the organisers say visitors who created a double at Expo 2025 will meet it again in Yokohama. A “Mirrored Body Lite” exists for children aged 13 and under and for people living outside Japan.
December onward and the Expo period
As of September 2026 the official site says the release date for bookings from December onward is undecided. If you plan to visit during GREEN×EXPO 2027 (19 March to 26 September 2027), you will need to wait for those slots to open. The organisers say plans linking null²ⁿ with null⁴ at the venue will be announced in stages.
Our take
To combine it with the Expo, we think the venue first and Minato Mirai in the late afternoon is the easier order. Entry slots run until 19:40, so leaving the venue around 16:00 still works. The other way round ties you to a booked shuttle-bus time.
Weekday and weekend prices differ by 600 yen. Weekends during the Expo will be busy at both the venue and Minato Mirai, so if you can take a weekday off, pairing a weekday Expo ticket with a weekday slot here saves both money and queueing.
The no-refund rule is strict. For families we suggest buying on the assumption that you may need to move the date the day before if a child is unwell; the change-until-23:59 rule is what makes that workable.
